Subject:I LOVE L.A.
Time:11:05 pm.
Mood: giddy.
I am back in town...finally! =P Vacations are all rather fleeting. NY was great....but my heart belongs here in LA~! It's good to be back...but first things first. I had to meet up with some friends for.....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Girls Night Out!

Angela & Me

Double Trouble?

How about Triple the Trouble!!! haha...

Angela, Ellie, Me

I don't know how the heck we manage to fit in this little thing...but we did...

Look we're in the BIG "O".

We went out to the Sunset strip...and had a blast. I can proudly say none of my girlfriends drink or smoke. I, myself, detest the smell of cigarettes and alcohol...and really see no point in such habits. We, girls, can have a great time without it!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are some of the random stuff I've worked on:

Dido's Music Video

Me & David Boreanaz (aka "Angel")

What a hot vampire...and if I may say so, he can suck my blood anytime! lol

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bijou Commercial

I had the opportunity to work with one of my favorite traditional chinese idols, Tsai Chin. I used to sing to her songs when I was little. A very reputable lady...she is a great singer and actress in Asia...and now that I met her in person, I see her in a completely different light. Tsai Chin is very charismatic, graceful, and funny. It was a pleasure & honor working with her in the commercial. This commercial will only air in Taiwan.

Me, Tsai Chin, & Kaori

Kaori & Me.....say cheeeeese....

Kaori, Richard, David, Me

You're probably wondering what the heck were the girls doing? Well, let me explain. We were on location at 6am...it was a early morning shoot....so the poor male models were tired...and yes...they're taking a nap. So, Kaori & I decided to take some blackmail photos...hehe. So guys, watch out!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lucki & Kobe's Reunion

Finally had Lucki reunite with her sister, Kobe. I went out to the Three Dog Bakery at Pasadena and met up with Betty & Kobe. The two lil pups were so cute fighting with each other. Obviously, we can see who's the aggressive fighter and who's the passive fighter.

Kobe & Lucki...(or shall I rephrase...Kobe ON TOP OF Lucki..hehe)

After the little bakery brawl...we went in seach of eatery places that would take pets. Surprisingly, we got turned down....but we did manage to go to Wok'n'Roll...(bless their hearts) for some sushi.

Lucki & Me

Betty & Kobe

Lucki the Devil...hehe

Kobe the Devil???

***puppy photos compliments of Betty***

Until next time...

Subject:Vacation is Bliss
Time:12:03 pm.
Mood: happy.
Finally on vacation! The past month has been a crazy month for me. Things keep popping up left and right...but it's always a good thing. Wouldn't you rather be busy than bored? =)

Spiderman 2

The past month was spent on the set of Spiderman 2 at the Sony Studio in Culver City...which by far, proved to be most fun shoot. And ofcourse it's top secret, so I can't say too much about it...how about Ock Lab? Oops! That must have been a typo error. Hehe. Seriously! I will get in trouble. =P

I really admire the director Sam Raimi. He's very nice, polite and professional. And speaking of professional...he even wears a suit to the set everyday! (normally most directors wear jeans and sweats) Anyhow, the movie won't be out until July 4th of next year. From what I can tell, it's going to be even better than the 1st one.

East Coast/Canada

After the shoot, I caught a red eye flight to NY. I make it a habit to visit my friends and family at least 2 times every year. Here's a few highlights of my trip so far:

* Went to see the Niagara Falls in Canada. Absolutely breathtaking view....

* Got detained at both Canada and US customs due to my friend's expired visa. Yikes! Btw, flirting your way to the other side of the country didn't work! haha. But they did give us souvenirs. Anyhow, my friend ended up paying $200 to expedite a temporary visa to cross the border. Was it worth it? You tell me.

* Spent 4th of July in Boston, MA. Great city, but the streets are so confusing there...all these signs pointing every which way! It's 100x worse than downtown LA!

* Went to New Hampshire, to drop a friend off at Philips Exeter Academy. Very interesting boarding school...saw some little 13 year old being dropped off in a limo...a LIMO?? Talk about being ostentatious!

* Went to Portland, Maine for fresh & delicious lobsters! I LOVE lobsters...and never thought it would come to this....but after eating so much there...I may be cured. haha. I can't eat another lobster!

If you ever go to Portland, Maine...check out DiMillo's Floating Restaurant & Marina at Old Port. It's delicious!

http://www.dimillos.com

Lobsters? Anyone???

* Went to see the famous Portland Head Lighthouse. I've seen so many pictures/paintings of lighthouses in the past...and now I'm finally in one. hehe.

Maine is host to many of the nation's oldest lighthouses....did you know there are 66 lighthouses gracing the shores of Maine? Portland Head Lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the United States. Portland Head's lantern was illuminated on January 10, 1791. Its first lightkeeper was appointed by none other, President George Washington. Wasn't that interesting? Who ever said history was boring?

Anyhow, I'm back in NY again...and will remain here til possibly later this month. Vacation is BLISSSSS.........

There are so much more to say and share, but this entry is getting a little too long...so I will end it here. Until next time!

Subject:My New Love
Time:3:38 am.
Mood: shocked.
So to all of my fans out there (all "3" of you, heehee..or none ) you're probably wondering what the hell was I doing for the past month? Well here's the answer:

The new love of my life: Lucki~

Isn't she adorable? (like me? haha, just kidding!!!) I must say, taking care of a puppy is not easy...it's just as hard as taking care of a baby..if not...MORE. Lucki is about 5 months now...mixed breed...small sized pup...small enough to carry her around in my tote bag (soooo LA) hehe...and I simply love to take her everywhere and especially to the Dog Bakery Store in Pasadena. If you see a chick with this hot pup, it must be ME. =) Where I go, she goes.

Besides this...I've also been super busy working on various features, commercials, and more music videos. Will let you know more details when the time is right.

What happens when your child does this???

I swear...KIDS THESE DAYS.....tsk tsk. Would you allow this?? I'm absolutely mortified. horrified. petrified!...but then again..he looks so damn cute. hehe *sigh*

Subject:Sugar Ray Music Video Shoot
Time:12:32 am.
Mood: hot.
Spent the entire weekend, literally, on the set of Sugar Ray's new music video shoot. The song "Mr. Bartender (It's so easy)" is cute and has a very catchy upbeat tempo! And might I add...Mark..*sigh* is HOT in person.

He and the rest of the band: Murphy, Rodney, Stan, and DJ Homicide are the sweetest.

Got my make-up done again! hehe...Magic! I love it when the professionals do it...cuz I know I won't end up looking like a raccoon. =P

Me and model, Mariah...isn't she HOT? I was surrounded by these gorgeous models...wow..eye candy everywhere! hehe.

Thanks to Betty!! [info]betbebe Because of her referral...I'm wearing the famous Adam Saak's shirt. =)

So these are the only photos I received thus far. I didn't take any photographs on the set, because personally I felt it was unprofessional. But others did, so as soon as I get them..I will post!

Anyhow, the theme is pretty interesting...and I would hate to spoil it by telling. My lips are sealed! ok ok...car wash is my hint. That's all I'm going to say! The director Steven Murashige is awesome. He does NOT look like a director. He's sooo young looking. Must be the Asian blood. Damn, we are blessed!

This single, "Mr. Bartender (It's so easy)" is going to be a hit. I feel it. It's a funny music video...with John Witherspoon...doing something very naughty. So watch it! And also be on the lookout for Sugar Ray's new album, "In the Pursuit of Leisure," which will hit the stores June 3rd.

Check out Sugar Ray's site!

Time:1:35 am.
Mood: bored.
"Commonplaces never become tiresome. It is we who become tired when we cease to be curious and appreciative. We find that it is not a new scene which is needed, but a new viewpoint."
-Norman Rockwell

Got this quote off of a Rockwell's painting. Thought it was rather interesting...

Subject:San Paredes Fashion Show
Time:5:54 am.
Mood: pleased.
It's Fashion Week in Los Angeles! This past weekend, I had the opportunity to participate in a 1st fashion show to kick off the Fashion Week here in Los Angeles. The designer featured for this show is Paul Magalad. Fabulous person...and the creativity in his clothing designs should be recognized...

Please don't get scared...it's only me...haha. I look like a ghost~ yes i'm trying to imitate the look from "The Ring" in a completely new perspective?? jk!! =P

Here's Philip B, touching up my hair. Let me just say, there was massive teasing done on my hair...took me literally a whole bottle of detangler to wash off, along with many strands of my hair. =( but nevertheless, it was fun to have a new look. At least Philip enjoyed his masterpiece...he enjoyed the teasing/poofing process. hehe. =)

Here's me strutting the runway....with my big poofy head....haha...

Here are a few more pix of other models from the show...

For more pix, please check out this site:

http://www.graphicafire.com/fashion/index.html

I would really hope to encourage everyone to help support these new and upcoming fashion designers for Fashion Week. Each designers work very hard, and the least we can do is to support & acknowledge their work.

The following link is the calendar of fashion shows that will be showcased this week:

http://www.fashionweekla.com/calendar.php

So please check your schedules and if you happen to be in the LA downtown area...come and check it out.

Believe me, it's well-worth it. =)

Subject:How to fall out of love with your ex.....
Time:12:50 am.
Mood: contemplative.
The biggest mistake most people make when they breakup with their partners is to believe that they somehow have to instantly, magically "fall out of love" with their exes. That is simply just not so. Feel the love for your ex in your heart, allow the memories and good feelings to flow if you want...but just remember while allowing your heart to feel the love to also use your brain to receive feedback that it is over and will not work out. Feel free to feel the love but accept the fact that it is over, too. You can love him/her for the rest of eternity if you'd like. There is NO reason to think you have to 'fall out of love' with him/her...however you do need to go through the grief of loss, the withdrawal from that which has become an addiction if you'd like, and acknowledge and accept that the relationship is over. This is the key to getting past the grief to a point where our hearts are open and love can re-enter our lives.

But...you can't just 'will' your heart to not love someone anymore than you can will your heart not to beat. It just isn't possible! What is possible, however, is to 'allow' yourself to fall out of love. If the relationship is over then stop fighting it, and learn to accept it - learn how to 'allow' your heart to stop loving your ex.

To 'allow' your heart to stop loving your ex is hard - it means admitting to ourselves that the relationship is over, and that we will be okay - no matter what. To allow your heart to fall out of love means to open it back up and 'allow' others in. You can speed up this process by either getting rid of anything that reminds you of your ex, or by packing it away - out of sight. By clinging to the love you are not keeping the relationship alive - like your mind has convincingly deceived you into believing - all you are doing is keeping the grief alive.

Get new interests, change something about yourself or your life that you were dissatisfied with, find new hobbies, join clubs or groups and make new friends. This is a time of rebirth for you - a second chance at life - so go for it with all the gusto that you possibly can!

Subject:Thought for the day
Time:10:56 am.
Life at work is like a tree full of monkeys,
all on different limbs at different levels.
Some monkeys are climbing up, some down.
The monkeys on top look down and
see a tree full of smiling faces.
The monkeys on the bottom look up
and see nothing but ass holes.

Have a great weekend everyone~!!! =P

Subject:Elderly Wedding
Time:12:09 am.
Mood: restless.
Joke of the day:

Jacob, age 92, and Rebecca, age 89, are all excited about their decision to get married. They go for a stroll to discuss the wedding and on the way they pass a drugstore. Jacob suggests they go in.

Jacob addresses the man behind the counter: "Are you the owner?"

The pharmacist answers "Yes."

Jacob: "We're about to get married. Do you sell heart medication?"

Pharmacist: "Of course we do."

Jacob: "How about medicine for circulation?"

Pharmacist: "All kinds."

Jacob: "Medicine for rheumatism, scoliosis?"

Pharmacist: "Definitely."

Jacob: "How about Viagra?"

Pharmacist: "Of course."

Jacob: "Medicine for memory problems, arthritis, jaundice?"

Pharmacist: "Yes, a large variety. The works."

Jacob: "What about vitamins, sleeping pills, Geritol, antidotes for Parkinson's disease?"

Pharmacist: "Absolutely."

Jacob: "You sell wheelchairs and walkers?"

Pharmacist: "All speeds and sizes."

Jacob says to the pharmacist:
"We'd like to register here for our wedding gifts, please."

Subject:Hanami - Cherry Blossoms
Time:10:12 pm.
Mood: relaxed.
Hanami is a Japanese tradition of having a picnic under the cherry blossoms. Cherry Blossoms are generally in bloom from the end of March to the beginning of April, however this year the warm weather has caused the trees to bloom unseasonably early. The following picture was taken at Lake Balboa Parks in Van Nuys.

cherry blossom

With the daily hustle 'n' bustle in Los Angeles, it's hard to imagine that there is time to relax and enjoy such a beautiful sight...but I did. =) I hope you all get a chance to enjoy this uniquely Japanese custom of welcoming spring.

Subject:Freedom of Speech
Time:12:15 am.
Mood: cheerful.
A sign at a business establishment in Philadelphia, PA reads:

"WE WOULD RATHER DO BUSINESS
WITH 1000 AL QAEDA TERRORISTS
THAN WITH A SINGLE AMERICAN"

This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Philadelphia. You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement. One would think that anti-hate groups from all across the country would be marching on this business... And that the National Guard might have to be called to keep the angry crowds back. But, perhaps in these stressful times one might be tempted to let the proprietor simply make this statement . We are a society who hold Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty... And after all, it is just a sign.
You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign?
Answer: A Funeral Home
(Who said morticians have no sense of humor?)

Subject:Rejection
Time:1:01 pm.
Mood: rejected.
Ahh...that feeling of rejection. don't you just hate it?

I went for a commercial audition a few weeks ago, and found out it was down to me and this other girl. Here is the thing. The "director" likes the other girl, but on the other hand, the "agency" likes me. So who has more power? Well, obviously, I know now cuz I just found out today...that I didn't get it. WAAAAA!

What a perfect day to rain.

I guess I should have known better to never 'count my chickens before they hatch'...which I did..AGAIN. The commercial shoots in Australia this weekend, and airs in HK...and not to mention..it pays like 4G. WAAAA! Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

I think that stuff works...(56 strips for $30? it better!) Here I am, with another batch of strips in my mouth. It's actually not too bad. Hey now, don't get me wrong...I don't smoke or drink coffee (well, maybe just a little coffee) Anyhow, I think this stuff is worth trying out...after all "it's the easiet way to get noticeably whiter teeth - guaranteed."

Gives me all more the reason to smile... =D

Subject:Girl Poem
Time:11:28 pm.
Mood: amused.
A Poem for us...

I shave my legs,
I sit down to pee.
And I can justify
any shopping spree.

Don't go to a barber,
but a beauty salon.
I can get a massage
without a hard-on.

I can balance the checkbook,
I can pump my own gas.
Can talk to my friends,
about the size of my ass.

My beauty's a masterpiece,
and yes, it takes long.
At least I can admit,
to others when I'm wrong.

I don't drive in circles,
at any cost.
And I don't have a problem,
admitting I'm lost.

I never forget,
an important date.
You just gotta deal with it,
I'm usually late.

I don't watch movies,
with lots of gore.
Don't need instant replay,
to remember the score.

I won't lose my hair,
I don't get jock itch.
And just cause I'm assertive,
Don't call me a bitch.

Don't say to your friends,
Oh yeah, I can get her.
In your dreams, my dear,
I can do better!

Flowers are okay,
But jewelry's best.
Look at me you idiot...
Not at my chest!!!!

I don't have a problem,
With expressing my feelings.
I know when you're lying,
You look at the ceiling.

Don't call me a GIRL,
a BABE or a CHICK.
I am a WOMAN.
Get it? you DICK!!!

***hehe..i thought this was funny~ =P

Subject:American Idol 2
Time:11:09 pm.
Mood: hopeful.
First and foremost...thank you all for your warm display of welcome~!! Makin' me feel...all warm & fuzzy'n'shit. hehe. But I've been feeling like a retard, cuz I couldn't respond to any of your messages. I kept getting error messages when I try to! Grrr...I need help! =P But just wanted to let you all know, your messages did not go unnoticed! I lub you too!

Back to my topic of the day. Just saw the American Idol 2. That show just cracks me up. Where in the world do they find those people? They were absolutely dreadful. Then again, that could have been me...so let me take that back. hehe. =D

Speaking of music...I need advice! Currently need some ideas on what is a good song to sing for a group of four girls. The song should be fairly simple...no harmonizing needed (no time left for that) A good inspirational song. Any ideas?
